January 24, 2013 24 January 2013: John Arnott has been appointed Executive Director Customer at ING DIRECT overseeing product and marketing at the bank, including analytics and customer experience, effective 1 February 2013. John has been acting in the role since November, following Brett Morgan’s appointment to ING Vysya Bank in India. ING DIRECT CEO, Vaughn Richtor said, “John’s promotion to the executive team is testament to his achievements since joining ING DIRECT. “John has been instrumental in driving the customer growth of our Orange Everyday account and the continued growth of the retail savings portfolio.” John began his career with HSBC, where he was for five years, before joining ING DIRECT UK managing online channels.
